The Rompa® Ball-Bubble Tube is a classic of the sensory room. Bubbles of air propel multi-coloured balls to the top of the tube, then the balls float gently down again to start their journey once more – while the tube glows in eight changing colours.
Use it passively as a calming focal point for sensory regulation, or interactively: with a Rompa switch box or wireless controller, users choose the colour and start or stop the bubbles themselves. This supports visual tracking, colour recognition, reaching and looking up, and hand-eye coordination.
The smooth surface and the cooler tube give a pleasant tactile contrast, and the gentle hum and vibration add sound and touch. For best effect, use it in a darkened room with a safety collar.
