The PRIM 904 shoulder abduction orthosis consists of a cushion with a base that sets a 30° abduction angle for the shoulder. Soft and comfortable, it fits the anatomy and is made in breathable material, immobilising the shoulder and elbow joint. It is also designed to support unilateral subluxation caused by hemiplegia.
Indications
Post-surgical shoulder treatment, after rotator cuff or anteroposterior capsule reconstruction, shoulder prosthesis, fractures of the humeral head, post-arthroscopy.

Immobilisation of the shoulder and elbow joint.
Two fixing options
Arm straps to the belt, or fixation at the waist.

Supplied in a single universal size.
Abduction cushion
Base gives a 30° abduction angle; distributors list an adjustable range of 30–45°.
Option 1
Arm and forearm straps joined by Velcro® to the belt fixation.
Option 2
Attachment at the waist, positioning and immobilising the elbow and forearm.
