WINIX PlasmaWave® Technology
PlasmaWave® is Winix's own technology and the extra, fourth stage of cleaning. It works together with the HEPA filter to help break down airborne pollutants and gases – and, according to Winix, without producing harmful ozone.
Every Winix air purifier is tested and certified by two independent institutes: ECARF (European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation) and Allergy UK.
They test the purifiers against allergens, dust and pollen, and confirm the real clean-air delivery rate (CADR) in independent test reports.
