The Meditrac Vertetrac is a compact, wearable traction device for the lower back. Instead of lying strapped to a traction table, the user wears the Vertetrac around the waist while standing and can then walk, sit or do light exercise during treatment.
It is designed for people with disc problems, sciatica and other lumbar disorders, including those who cannot tolerate traditional lying-down traction.
Applies vertical and horizontal forces – symmetrically or asymmetrically – to decompress the lumbar spine.
Fitted standing, with the spine in its natural lordotic curve.
Traction reduces pressure in the discs while walking supports circulation and fluid exchange.
No immobilisation: walk, stand, sit or follow your rehabilitation routine.
Around 30 minutes per session, with minimal interruption to daily life.
Users are encouraged to stay active during treatment.
Takes no clinic floor space and can travel with you.
After instruction by a therapist, patients can learn to use it at home.
