The Neutral Thumb Resting Hand Orthosis by RCAI (Restorative Care of America) is a lightweight resting splint that keeps the thumb in a neutral position for good joint alignment.
It is designed to help relieve pain, support mobility and help reduce contractures by minimising spasticity. The durable thermoplastic shell is heat-mouldable for a customised fit, and the washable liner keeps it comfortable.
Indications
Arthritis
Supports the thumb and wrist and can help reduce joint pain.
Neurological
Contractures and muscle weakness; brain injury or stroke recovery; cerebral palsy.
Post-injury
Positioning support during recovery after injury.
Customised fit
Heat-mouldable shell, available for the left or right hand in four sizes.
