The Bunito Duo has a two-hinge design that allows the joint to move, making it possible to correct the big-toe position while walking. It can be used in light to medium stages of hallux valgus and in post-operative rehabilitation.
The human foot has two axes of rotation in the metatarsophalangeal joint. While single-axis splints can compress this joint, the two-hinge Bunito Duo lets the whole foot move more freely, which is designed to reduce joint compression.
