Folding Aluminium Transport Wheelchair – ALU

Light, compact and easy for the carer to push

The ALU is a lightweight transport wheelchair with a chrome-plated aluminium frame, designed to be pushed by a carer. At only 9 kg it is easy to lift, and it folds – including the backrest – for easy storage and transport in a car, while its small rear wheels keep it narrow and easy to manoeuvre indoors. Brakes on the rear wheels and separate attendant brakes on the handles give safe control, while fixed desk-type sides, a calf support strap and folding footrests with metal footplates keep the user secure and comfortable.
