The Neuro-Lux II by Sporlastic is a functional brace for stabilising the shoulder joint in cases of flaccid paralysis. Its diagonal strap guidance encourages external rotation.
Indications
Conservative shoulder therapy, cranio-cerebral trauma, hemiplegia, paresis or flaccid paralysis of shoulder/arm muscles, peripheral nerve damage, plexus injuries, shoulder subluxation, shoulder-hand syndrome, cervical spine trauma.
Repositioning
Helps reposition the humeral head with correction of subluxation and internal rotation.
Free arm
Secures the shoulder joint while leaving the arm free – arm swing can improve gait.
Protection
Traction effect helps avoid secondary damage to capsule, tendons, muscles and nerves.
2 lifting straps
Cross-joint, dynamic straps adjust the return forces for external rotation.
Elbow enclosure
