Knee Pain Reliever – Acupressure

The Dr. Mertens Acupressure Knee Pain Reliever is worn just below the knee and combines built-in acupressure elements with adjustable compression. As you move, the elements stimulate blood circulation in the soft tissues around the joint, which can help ease pain and stiffness and support recovery after injury, while the knee keeps its full freedom of movement.

The wide version gives a larger contact area and is made in separate left and right models.

Dr. Mertens orthoses massage without any electrical parts. As you move, the tension cords tighten and relax and press the acupressure elements gently against the muscles. This continuous, light massage:

• improves blood microcirculation and relaxes tense muscles,
• creates a pleasant warmth that lasts for a while after you take the orthosis off,
• gives support while leaving your full range of movement,
• helps flush out lactic acid after hard exercise, reducing muscle soreness.

The fabric stretches only in certain directions, so the orthosis stays in place, follows your movements and lets air circulate.

Use & care

• Takes only seconds to put on and take off – at home, at work, at the gym or outdoors.
• Wear it directly on the skin or over thin clothing.
• Start with gentle compression and short wearing periods; increase tension and wearing time gradually over about two weeks, following the supplied instructions.

• Avoid pressing the acupressure elements hard against a hard surface, e.g. kneeling on a hard floor.
• Machine washable: close all fasteners and wash in a laundry bag, following the care label.
