AF SERVO for mild foot drop patients

AF SERVO is a ready-to-go AFO(Ankle Foot Orthosis) for mild foot drop patients, due to injuries such as stroke, spine or nerve damage, bone fracture and etc., which can cause walking difficulties in daily life. AF SERVO alleviates inconvenience in social life and facilitates or ordinary motion. Additionally, wearing the AF SERVO helps improving the outcome of rehabilitation treatment. AF SERVO obviates the fabrication time delays required by customized AFOs, thanks to the turning dial lock which allows on-the-fly adjustments by users.

AF SERVO's use of the turning dial, instead of a Velcro, allows firm adherence of the orthosis to the user's body shape and provides comfort in daily use, while easing tasks such as putting shoes on or taking them off. Additionally, the turning dial adjustment ensures comfortable fit and does not allow loosening, thus preventing secondary damage.

AF SERVO is provided with four different size options (Small, Medium, Large, XLarge, see the below chart)

*If foot-drop symptoms of a patient are too severe to make the dorsi-flexion (foot up),  AF SERVO is not recommended. Then please consult your medical professional.

Indication for Use: FOOT  DROP due to:

  • Dorsiflexion weakness
  • Peroneal nerve injury
  • Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT)
  • Stoke (CVA)
  • Hemiplesia
  • Multiple sclerosis

  • Motor neuron disease (MND)
