Indications
- Hallux valgus (bunion)
- Pre-operative and post-operative care of the big toe, as advised by your doctor
- Big toe joint pain at rest
- Place the splint along the inside of the foot, with the toe section along the big toe.
- Fasten the strap around the foot, then the strap around the big toe.
- Adjust so the toe is held straight without pressure or numbness.
- Wear during rest or overnight. Do not walk in the splint.
Check the skin regularly and remove the splint if you feel pain, tingling or numbness. Consult your doctor before use.
