Climb straight up – or slide it out to a gentle slope

Three birch-ply panels with 20 colour-coded hand-holds. Lock it vertical for a challenge, or roll the bottom out to an angle for users who find a vertical wall hard to grip.

Rompa® Convertible Climbing Wall

Wall-mounted climbing wall that converts from vertical to sloped – 221 × 145 cm

  • Vertical or sloped
  • 20 hand-holds
  • 3 difficulty levels
  • 221 × 145 cm
  • Working load 113 kg
  • Indoor use

The Rompa® Convertible Climbing Wall brings safe, graded climbing into the sensory room, gym or therapy space. It is made of three birch-plywood panels on two upright channels that fix to a solid wall.

Use it locked in the vertical position, or remove the two locking screws and slide the bottom panel out: the panels roll on wheels into a sloped position, about 60 cm from the wall at the base. The slope makes climbing possible for users who struggle to hold on to a vertical surface.

The 20 hand-holds are colour-coded by difficulty – green for easy, yellow for intermediate, red for most challenging – so you can set routes that build strength, coordination, motor planning and confidence.

Ideal for

  • Multi-sensory and soft play rooms
  • Special schools and SEN classrooms
  • Occupational therapy and physiotherapy
  • Gross motor and proprioceptive activities
  • Activity centres and gyms
