The RHIZO-HiT® is a textile brace for the metacarpo-phalangeal and carpo-metacarpal joints of the thumb, with a mouldable aluminium inlay and a closure with slip-stop. It stabilises the thumb while preserving grip function.
Rhizarthrosis
Moderate to severe rhizarthrosis with marked subluxation, with or without CMC hypermobility.
Injuries
Skier's thumb, tendon instabilities, thumb fractures.
Arthrosis
Arthrosis of the radial carpus and MCP 1.
Tendon irritation
De Quervain's tendovaginitis, "mobile phone thumb".
Aluminium inlay
Anatomically mouldable.
Circular strap
With forearm sling and block to prevent sliding.
Wrist limitation
Limits freedom of movement in the wrist.
Grip function
Preserved.
